Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, promote, and execute external events and sponsorship initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, and other key stakeholders to develop annual marketing strategies for broker and customer events.
- Oversee the organization of CAA Club Group's annual broker loyalty retreat, managing a significant budget.
- Create comprehensive project plans to ensure timely completion of all event-related tasks.
- Research, source, and manage vendors to meet event requirements and budget constraints.
- Arrange venues, catering, transportation, accommodations, and convention registrations as needed.
- Ensure the timely production of marketing materials and promotional items for events.
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to fulfill audio/visual needs.
- Provide consulting support for select brokers regarding event execution.
- Work with the Graphic Designer and Marketing team to develop and implement event-related promotions.
- Lead the creation of event performance dashboards to assess the value of each event and inform future investments, including brand exposure and business development KPIs.
- Identify new sponsorship opportunities to enhance CAA Club Group's brand visibility among key stakeholder groups, evaluating potential ROI and brand exposure.
- Develop and manage the annual sponsorship budget, overseeing contract negotiations and payment processes while tracking all sponsorship expenditures.
- Monitor and optimize sponsorship benefits and opportunities, ensuring effective exposure for each sponsorship.
- Manage promotional opportunities for all sponsorships, ensuring that all branded materials are accurate and align with the brand.
- Collaborate with the communications and content team to fulfill sponsorship-related editorial and public relations opportunities.
- Work closely with the communications team and other internal stakeholders to establish an annual plan for internal events.
- Provide resources, consultation, and best practices to internal teams for planning select team events and retreats.
- Create an annual budget and strategy for promotional branded giveaways.
- Order promotional items, coordinating with approved vendors.
- Maintain contracts and oversee the performance of all promotional item vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning and execution.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale marketing projects.
- Experience in insurance and/or B2B marketing is preferred.
- Exceptional ability to manage relationships with internal and external partners.
- Proficient in budget management.
- Ability to handle competing priorities and adapt to changing demands.
- Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
