Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, promote, and execute external events and sponsorship initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, and other key stakeholders to create annual marketing strategies for broker and customer events.
- Oversee the organization of CAA Club Group's annual broker loyalty retreat, managing a significant budget.
- Develop comprehensive project timelines to ensure all event-related milestones are achieved.
- Research, source, and manage various vendors to meet event and budgetary needs.
- Coordinate venue bookings, catering services, transportation, accommodations, and registration for conventions.
- Ensure timely production of promotional materials and collateral for events.
- Collaborate with IT and/or external partners to fulfill audio/visual requirements.
- Provide consulting support for select brokers regarding event planning.
- Work alongside Graphic Designers and Marketing teams to strategize and implement event-related promotions.
- Lead the development of event dashboards to assess the value of each event, guiding future investments by calculating brand exposure and business development KPIs.
- Identify new sponsorship opportunities to enhance CAA Club Group's brand visibility among key stakeholder groups, evaluating potential ROI and brand exposure.
- Create and manage the annual sponsorship budget, facilitating contracts and payment processes while tracking all related expenses.
- Monitor and optimize sponsorship benefits and opportunities, ensuring maximum exposure for each sponsorship.
- Manage promotional opportunities associated with all sponsorships, ensuring all branded materials are accurate and on-brand.
- Collaborate with the communications and content teams to fulfill sponsorship-related editorial and public relations opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to establish an annual plan for internal events.
- Provide resources, consultation, and best practices to support the planning of select team events and retreats.
- Develop an annual budget and strategy for promotional branded giveaways.
- Order promotional items while coordinating with approved vendors.
- Maintain contracts and oversee the performance of all promotional item vendors.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning and execution.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale marketing initiatives.
- Experience in insurance and/or B2B marketing is preferred.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with internal and external partners.
- Proficient in budget management.
- Ability to navigate conflicting priorities and adapt to changing demands.
- Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
