About the Role

Avanti Software Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical & Clinic Territory Manager to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through customer engagement in the GTA Territory.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and grow existing and new Surgical & Clinic accounts in the GTA, with a primary focus on hunting and prospecting new business in Surgi Centers and Clinics such as Endo, Gastro, and other key surgical and clinical areas.
  2. Build and maintain a sales pipeline through effective lead generation and prospecting.
  3. Develop, plan, and implement tailored solutions to address account requirements to better meet customer needs.
  4. Develop and implement sales strategies by determining the relevant factors for 'close-win' scenarios (e.g., understanding clinical requirements or patient needs that drive product selection, competition, and purchasing decision process, decision makers) of existing and potential accounts.
  5. Develop in-depth knowledge of all competitors and their capabilities.
Requirements
  1. Driven, self-motivated individual with high resilience, persistence, and initiative.
  2. High level commitment and professionalism to work with healthcare professionals in a surgical or clinic environment.
  3. Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
  4. Ability to work autonomously to build and grow revenue.
  5. A strong comfort level in a clinical setting and with clinically driven discussion (surgi-centers, private clinics).
  6. Competitive and focused on achieving goals.
  7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal team members & customers while driving growth in respective book of business.
  8. University / College degree.
  9. Minimum of five years' demonstrated success in sales, preferably in the healthcare industry in Canada.
  10. Demonstrated experience in Key Account Management.
  11. Travel required throughout the GTA Area.

  1. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to be compelling on 'Why Avanti Software Inc.?' and still compassionate to customer/patient/clinical needs.
  2. Strong sales/commercial effectiveness: Strength in prospecting new business and ability to displace the competitor to win business.
  3. Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude, with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to high professional ethical standards.
  4. Ability to remain organized and prioritize workload.
  5. Ability to champion efficient and effective workflow processes.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong analytical, business, and financial acumen.
  8. Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external contacts.
  9. Experience working with Salesforce is an asset.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  11. Hold a valid driver's license.
