Surgical Clinical Reviewer

North York General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Clinical Reviewer to join our team. As a key member of our Program Management-Surgery department, you will play a critical role in collecting and submitting reliable data to the ACS NSQIP.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and document high-quality data for all eligible surgeries
- Work closely with the Department of Surgery to identify clinical quality improvement opportunities
- Manage special projects and coordinate data collection with the Surgical Program team
- Build strong relationships with peers, physicians, staff, patients, and families
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences
- Baccalaureate degree in a health-related discipline or equivalent
- Certified SCR or willingness to complete the ACS NSQIP SCR Training/Certification Program
- Minimum one year experience in a surgical department, surgical suite setting, acute care setting, clinical research, or medical records with coding and abstraction
- Proficiency in MS Office suite with advanced skills in MS Word and Excel
