Job Title: Restaurant Host

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Restaurant Host to join our team at Cineplex. As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments to ensure seamless service.
  • Operate the company iPad on Opentable, updating the floorplan and taking reservations as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with the server team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
