Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Service Manager to prepare and coordinate seating plans, ensuring efficient table allocation.
  • Seat guests according to seating plan, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Communicate any special requests to Servers and Bussers, ensuring prompt and attentive service.
  • Maximize the capacity of the dining room by assisting with table re-setting and other duties as needed.
  • Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies, upholding the highest level of quality and excellence.
  • Assist Bussers, Servers, Bartenders, and Managers as needed, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.
  • Follow all MLSE Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Previous hosting experience in a high-volume restaurant is required, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Previous cash handling responsibilities are an asset, with a strong understanding of financial management and control.
  • Work well under pressure, balancing multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
