Production Process Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineering Technologist to join our team at Technimount Design Inc. As an Industrial Engineering Technologist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing production processes, designing plant layouts, and conducting quality assurance programs.
Key Responsibilities- Process Development: Develop and conduct production, inventory, and quality assurance programs to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Design and Layout: Design plant layouts and production facilities to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Work Measurement: Conduct work measurement studies to optimize production processes.
- Health and Safety: Develop and carry out health, safety, and fire prevention plans to ensure a safe working environment.
- Training and Development: Conduct safety training programs to educate employees on workplace hazards and safety procedures.
- Computer Applications: Develop computer applications for machines and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data and samples to inform production decisions.
- Manufacturing Procedures: Develop manufacturing and processing procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Estimates and Reports: Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports to support production planning.
- Certification: Certification by a provincial or territorial association is required.
- Quality Management: International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000, 9001 quality management certified.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in networking software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, project management software, computer-aided design (CAD), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Area of Work Experience: Fabrication experience is required.
- Area of Specialization: Development of production processes, facilities, and systems.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
