Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Westminster Mobile Medical Imaging Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the building and testing of prototypes, assisting in design, development, and testing, and preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prototype Development
    • Supervise the building and testing of prototypes to ensure they meet specifications and requirements.
    • Assist in the design, development, and testing of prototypes to ensure they are safe and effective.
  • Research and Testing
    • Conduct research and testing to evaluate the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of testing protocols and procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Prepare estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports to document project progress and results.
    • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as biomedical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as biomedical engineering or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering principles and practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
