Job Summary

Westminster Mobile Medical Imaging Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineering Technologist to join our team. As a Biomedical Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for the development and testing of prototypes, assisting in design and development, and preparing estimates, schedules, and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prototype Development and Testing: Supervise the building and testing of prototypes, assist in design, development, and testing, and write specifications.
  • Research and Development: Conduct applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics, and carry out research projects to improve existing medical devices.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports, and assist in preparing estimates, schedules, and specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering, physics, and computer software, including MS Office and database software.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong attention to detail.
