Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and feedback.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent standing for extended periods.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide coaching and feedback to staff.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
