NDR Electric is a privately owned lighting manufacturer based in Montreal, Quebec, with over 35 years of experience in delivering high-quality, innovative, and value-driven lighting products to the residential and commercial markets.

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Product Development Associate to join our expanding team in our head office in Montreal. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in product management or project coordination and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with our sales and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to New Product Development: Collaborate with our product development team and engineers in China to design and develop new LED solutions that meet our customers' needs.
  2. Manage Product Data Integrity: Ensure accurate and up-to-date product information, including drawings, catalogs, pricing, testing results, and reports.
  3. Coordinate Product Files: Organize and maintain all product files, including packaging, instruction sheets, and marketing materials in print and digital formats.
  4. Communicate Project Timelines: Effectively communicate project deadlines and milestones to stakeholders.
  5. Participate in Sales Presentations: Serve as a product expert in sales presentations and customer service training.
  6. Conduct Competitive Research: Analyze market trends and competitor products to provide valuable insights to our sales team.
  7. Prepare Reports and Presentations: Develop reports and presentations for customer and management meetings.
  8. Special Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
  1. 1-3 years of experience in product management or project coordination.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French and Mandarin are assets).
  3. Ability to learn quickly and become a subject matter expert in a rapidly changing market.
  4. Bachelor's degree (Business or related field is an asset).
  5. Technical background in construction, engineering, or industrial design is an asset.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
  7. Experience with Adobe, CAD, and Solid Works is an asset.
  8. Background in lighting products, electrical products, or SMART products is an asset.

Compensation and title are commensurate with experience.
