About the Role

SaskEnergy is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our Solutions & Architecture team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing Information Technology (IT) solutions to business problems. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing systems, applications, infrastructure, and processes that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead solution evaluation and technical leadership on PDO projects
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise strategies and focus on business outcomes
  • Develop non-functional and technical specifications for solution RFP documents
  • Oversee the activities of technical resources to deliver solutions
  • Work with project teams to develop conceptual architecture design
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Solution Architect role
  • Strong technical background in systems, architectures, systems management, networking, and application design
  • Experience working closely with business to solve technical and process problems
  • Canadian federal, provincial, municipal government work experience – minimum 2 years preferred
  • Government of Saskatchewan / Utilities work – minimum 2 years preferred
  • TOGAF 8 or higher
