The Administrative Support Specialist will provide administrative and clerical support to the Dexterra Group team. This role will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
- Reconciling financial reports and verifying cash transactions
- Compiling and analyzing data for financial reports
- Assisting with payroll processes and ensuring accurate and timely payment
- Providing exceptional customer service and responding to inquiries
- Performing administrative tasks, such as creating and tracking purchase orders
- Assisting with marketing initiatives, including preparing signage and programming databases
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Reconcile financial reports and verify cash transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Compile and analyze data for financial reports, including accounts receivable and payable
- Assist with payroll processes, including ensuring accurate and timely payment
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Perform administrative tasks, such as creating and tracking purchase orders
- Assist with marketing initiatives, including preparing signage and programming databases
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Secondary school education and strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of financial accounting systems, payroll processes, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Excellent telephone skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds
- Frequent sitting at a desk
