- Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods to ensure consistency and quality.
- Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods to optimize logistics and reduce costs.
- Revenue Management: Monitor and analyze revenue streams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Cargo Management: Record and track cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
- Operations Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: College or CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to handle a large workload.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, team player, and able to work in a permanent role with a 30-35 hour workweek.
The primary language of work is English, and the work environment is a dynamic and fast-paced logistics company.
