The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the HR department by managing various administrative tasks and personnel-related functions.
Educational Requirements- Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Relevant experience may be considered as an alternative qualification.
- Maintain and update personnel databases and records.
- Ensure the accuracy of employee information.
- Organize and manage filing systems for personnel documents.
- Compile and prepare information related to staff relations.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries from clients and the public.
- Address questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the advertising and posting of job openings.
- Assist in screening candidates for job vacancies.
- Conduct reference checks for potential hires.
- Generate reports related to HR activities.
- Minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- Position type: Permanent.
- Working language: English.
- Standard working hours: 40 hours per week.
