Position Overview

The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the HR department by managing various administrative tasks and personnel-related functions.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Relevant experience may be considered as an alternative qualification.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update personnel databases and records.
  • Ensure the accuracy of employee information.
  • Organize and manage filing systems for personnel documents.
  • Compile and prepare information related to staff relations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries from clients and the public.
  • Address questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the advertising and posting of job openings.
  • Assist in screening candidates for job vacancies.
