Our vision is to foster improved health for all Canadians, starting with our dedicated workforce. The selected candidate will oversee our People & Culture (P&C) initiatives in collaboration with our P&C Business Partners, Directors, and frontline leaders across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with supervisors and managers, acting as a trusted advisor to facilitate workplace strategies and meet organizational objectives.
- Provide coaching and guidance to management on talent and performance management processes, including performance enhancement and annual evaluations, policy interpretation, and P&C best practices.
- Offer sound advice on corrective measures, terminations, and performance improvement strategies.
- Conduct thorough investigations into potential breaches of collective agreements, company policies, and employment laws, providing recommendations for appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with the P&C Centre of Excellence to develop and implement P&C programs, focusing on talent acquisition, total compensation, and employee engagement, while prioritizing a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Establish and nurture supportive relationships among P&C, local union representatives, leadership, and the workforce.
- Advise management on labor relations issues, including collective bargaining, contract management, and grievance resolution.
- Utilize technology and data analytics to derive insights that inform business decisions, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bilingualism (English/French) is highly preferred.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of our product-driven organization.

- Commitment to inclusive leadership and a high regard for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Proven experience in employee relations, with a track record of achieving mutually beneficial outcomes and driving performance improvements.
- Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with all stakeholders, including leadership, union partners, and employees.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining diversity and respectful workplace policies.
