Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives, analyze market trends, and develop a comprehensive understanding of potential suppliers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, users, and stakeholders, and work closely with executive management to drive business growth.
- Provide expert advice to internal partners regarding merchandise groups and targeted markets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Participate in contract organization meetings and assist in resolving contract execution issues, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Ensure contracts are properly executed, analyze problems, negotiate with suppliers, and initiate corrections as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
- Develop and implement acquisition and disposition strategies, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and prepare tender documents for the Board of Directors.
- Lead bid evaluation committees and ensure transparency in the evaluation process, upholding the highest standards of integrity and fairness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration specialized in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Any combination of education and experience will be considered.
Key Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and regulations.
- Familiarity with SAP and Edilex software is a plus.
- Understanding of procurement regulations in the public sector is an advantage.
- Contract management knowledge and experience in the construction industry will be considered assets.
