Job Title: Child Support Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible and caring Child Support Specialist to join our team at Private Home. As a Child Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to children in a home environment.
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen and pantry.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development to promote their overall well-being.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children to stimulate their minds and bodies.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to promote healthy eating habits.
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, providing transportation and support.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a listening ear and a comforting presence.
- Help children with homework, promoting their academic success.
- Cook and prepare meals for the family, ensuring a delicious and varied diet.
Requirements: To be successful as a Child Support Specialist, you will require:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Client focus, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, patience, and honesty.
Working Conditions: This role requires working in an urban area, with the ability to work in an employer's/client's home. Public transportation is available.
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) may be required.
Language: English or French is required.
