Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes leading activities, maintaining daycare equipment, and assisting early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Lead activities that encourage creativity, socialization, and learning
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
Requirements:
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Vulnerable sector check
