Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Adventurers Child Care Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will work closely with our team to create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Synthesize the overall situation of the children and communicate the information to the parents.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Child Abuse Registry check.
  • Vulnerable sector check.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of punctuality, dependability, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork is essential.
