About the Role

Fulbright Canada is seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs and Communications Officer to join our team. As a key member of our professional staff, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing our communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan to promote the Foundation's programs and activities.
  • Manage and promote the public-facing elements of our programs, including social media, web development, and media outreach.
  • Write and edit content for various platforms, including reports, press releases, and website articles.
  • Collaborate with senior management and program staff to ensure consistent and engaging messaging.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with grantees, alumni, and partners to promote our programs and activities.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to the CEO on communications-related matters.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in a communications role, preferably with social media experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong logistics, organizing, and event planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual work tools.
