About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Floor Sales Associate to join our team at Dawson Hardware Ltd. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure a clean and organized store environment.
  • Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Stockroom Operations: Receive and process incoming stock, count and weigh items, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain visually appealing store displays, including arranging merchandise and creating eye-catching displays.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other sales floor team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel. The weight handling capacity is up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
