About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Floor Sales Associate to join our team at Dawson Hardware Ltd. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing product information as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders, both in-store and online, and ensure timely delivery or pickup.
  • Store Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work. You must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel. The weight handling capacity is up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
