About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Floor Sales Associate to join our team at Dawson Hardware Ltd. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing product information as needed.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking shelves and ensuring that products are properly displayed and priced.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Stockroom and Warehouse: Receive and process incoming stock, counting and recording inventory as needed.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, such as visual merchandising and store displays.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills necessary to succeed in this role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as needed.
  • Language: English.
