Retail Store Manager

FAS GAS PLUS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage our store's finances effectively.
- Order merchandise and manage our inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Establish work schedules and ensure our store is well-staffed at all times.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform our business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain our store's inventory, ensuring it is well-organized and easily accessible.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
FAS GAS PLUS is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment that requires our Retail Store Supervisor to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Our store is a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and our Retail Store Supervisor must be able to adapt to these changing conditions.
Requirements:- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
- Accurate and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our sales team and customers.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable and reliable, with a strong sense of initiative and judgement.
