We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Human Resources Director to lead our HR operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent
  • Address and resolve complex employee relations issues in a fair and timely manner
  • Collaborate with management to improve work relationships, build morale, and promote company culture
  • Assist in disciplinary issues and terminations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives to drive business results
  • Play a key role in performance management, including goal setting and development planning
  • Manage workplace health and safety initiatives, including accident claims and extended leaves of absence
  • Support training initiatives and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Fluently bilingual (English and French)
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
  • Good understanding of employment laws and HR policies
