Training Coordinator

The Training Coordinator - Development and Implementation will play a crucial role in developing and implementing training programs for employees at CRH Canada - Cement ON. This position will work closely with plant management and internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop curricula that meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs for employees in various tasks and roles
- Collaborate with plant management and internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop curricula
- Design and deliver training sessions, including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching
- Handle logistics for training activities, including venues and equipment
- Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers
- Coordinate off-site training activities for employees
- Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
- Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and summarize evaluation reports
- Partner with plant management and internal stakeholders to drive manufacturing excellence
- Ensure the implementation and effectiveness of an onboarding and early development program for new employees
- Partner with Plant Management and HR to maintain accurate training records
- Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
- Minimum 4 years - bachelors degree in engineering, training, or related technical fields
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Industrial plant operations and maintenance with significant experience in mechanical, electrical, process, and control systems and related fields. Experience with adult instruction and learning principles along with experience in training and instruction.
