Job Summary

The Training Coordinator plays a vital role in developing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of employees at Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company. This position is responsible for creating curriculum, coordinating logistics, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of employees and the organization
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver training content
  • Coordinate logistics for training activities, including venues and equipment
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers
  • Coordinate off-site training activities for employees
  • Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness
  • Partner with plant management and internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, training, or human resources
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in training and development, with a focus on adult learning principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
