SAGE Dining Services Canada is seeking a highly organized and creative leader to oversee the culinary operations of a prestigious private school in Richmond Hill, ON.

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to menu design, taking into account local influences and community preferences. Responsibilities will include team hiring and management, ordering, inventory control, and talent development.

We are looking for a manager with a CAN-DO mentality and a GUEST-focused approach, who prioritizes safety and excels in mentoring our hourly teams.

The successful candidate will have a strong leadership ability, demonstrated ability to manage a food service operation in a financially responsible manner, and outstanding customer service skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating exemplary customer service skills and developing client relationships.
  • Hiring, mentoring, and training Team Members in a positive environment.
  • Creating menus for daily meal service and catering events.
  • Implementing and maintaining HACCP standards.
  • Managing merchandising and delivering fabulous catering results.
  • Communicating clearly, professionally, and effectively.
  • Delivering budgeted financial results and managing ordering and inventory.
