Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our Store Support Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring a positive company image, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and delegate tasks to Team Members, ensuring a high-performance team and minimizing turnover.
  • Training and Development: Work with Team Trainers to train Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure all cases and shelves are clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated.
  • Customer Service: Resolve difficult customer situations and maintain awareness of customer flows and needs.
  • Communication: Communicate team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader, and ensure all necessary breaks are given.
  • Performance Evaluation: Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain awareness of regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ months retail experience.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of Store Support team procedures and policies, excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills, and proficiency with operations-related applications.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day, and work in a wet and cold environment.
