Production Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Arterra Wines Canada, Inc. in Niagara Falls. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supervising, developing, and leading all activities related to bottle shop and sanitation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and plan daily production requirements, ensuring efficient use of labor, product changeovers, and component supplies.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and develop plans to maintain production continuity.
- Develop and train operations staff on new safety programs and procedures.
- Complete administrative tasks, including payroll, FCR, DOR, vacation schedules, and email communication, to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and data management.
- Supervise Kronos operations and hire, train, and develop employees.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on target key performance indicators, such as line startup, line change, right first time, and production KPIs.
- Maintain a 5S mentality and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to HACCP and ISO procedures, paying attention to detail and ensuring accurate information is recorded.
- Participate in meetings, including daily production meetings, weekly operations meetings, and monthly union employee meetings.
- Ensure a safe and healthy production environment, prioritizing the well-being of production staff.
Requirements:
- College graduate with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and practices, including time study and constraint analysis.
- Proficiency in computer software, including Excel, JDE, Kronos, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a mechanical aptitude.

Compensation: Budgeted range: $77,000 - $100,198.00
The budgeted range takes into account various factors, including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business requirements. Base pay is just one component of our total rewards offering at Arterra Wines Canada, Inc.
