Restaurant Manager Job Description

Shawnigan Jen's Sushi & Teriyaki is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other supplies
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
