Restaurant Manager Job Description

At Shawnigan Jen's Sushi & Teriyaki, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to boost and maintain profits.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
  • Staff Performance: Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure that our high standards are met.
  • Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless execution and maximum efficiency.
  • Staff Recruitment and Scheduling: Recruit and schedule staff to meet the needs of the restaurant.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
  • Complaint Resolution: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
