Position Title: Centralized Programs Coordinator

Job Location: Clinic Support Office - Edmonton, Alberta

Job Type: Full-Time, Entry Level (8:00am - 4:30pm)

Reports to: Centralized Programs Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

As a member of the Centralized Programs Team, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service to patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Your responsibilities will include managing patient referrals, handling third-party requests, and overseeing physician panel management while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will contribute to the achievement of the organization's strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate and dispatch referrals to specialists and medical facilities
  • Monitor and follow up on pending referrals
  • Address inquiries from patients and physicians
  • Maintain effective communication with clinic personnel and patients
  • Achieve daily performance targets
  • Execute additional tasks as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Medical Office Assistant role
  • Familiarity with medical software is advantageous
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Capability to manage confidential information
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Flexibility in work shifts is necessary
  • Capacity to remain seated for extended periods
