Position Overview

Are you adept at overseeing Business Intelligence (BI) Solution initiatives from inception to execution? Can you deliver essential business analysis, technical assistance, and foster enhancements for systems and workflows?

We are seeking a full-time, term opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst within the Enterprise Advanced Analytics Department. Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Advanced Analytics, the successful candidate will spearhead Business Intelligence projects, offer expert business and technical guidance, and promote ongoing process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with senior management and the business to define and execute BI strategies. Partner with the business to formulate plans and architectural frameworks.
  • Direct the planning and execution of BI and data analytics projects, encompassing scope definition, project planning, budgeting, deliverable tracking, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Document existing business processes, perform requirements analysis, and pinpoint system and process enhancements.
  • Establish and uphold standards, best practices, and methodologies for BI processes and tools.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance user engagement with BI solutions. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on BI tools and best practices.
  • Guide business and junior IT personnel in business analysis, technical troubleshooting, and BI and Data Warehouse support competencies.

Key Qualifications Include:

  • A minimum of ten years of recent experience in implementing and supporting enterprise data warehouses in medium to large organizations, complemented by a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five years of recent experience in senior-level business analysis and project management.
  • Strong business analysis (BA) and project management (PM) capabilities.
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate all activities related to the management of IT systems/programs with a focus on service delivery and a proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence (BI) is advantageous.
