Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

At Vancouver Airport Authority, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Advanced Analytics Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading Business Intelligence projects, providing expert business and technical support, and driving continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior leadership and the business to define and implement Business Intelligence strategies, working closely with stakeholders to develop plans and architecture.
- Lead the planning and implementation of Business Intelligence and data analytics projects, including defining scope, developing project plans, budgets, tracking deliverables, and aligning with business goals.
- Document current business processes, conduct requirements analysis, and identify system and process improvements to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish and enforce standards, best practices, and methodologies for Business Intelligence processes and tools, ensuring consistency and quality across the organization.
- Mentor business and junior IT resources in business analysis, technical troubleshooting, and Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse support skills, promoting knowledge sharing and capacity building.
- Minimum of ten years' recent experience implementing and supporting enterprise data warehouses in medium to large organizations, supplemented by a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Five years recent experience in senior-level business analysis and project management, with a strong track record of delivering business value and driving process improvements.
- Strong business analysis (BA) and project management (PM) skills, with the ability to oversee and plan all activities around the management of IT systems/programs with a focus on service delivery and a proactive outlook.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) is considered an asset, but not required.
As a Senior Business Analyst at Vancouver Airport Authority, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $97,599 to $127,555 per annum, based on a 37.5-hour work week.
