About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead our Business Intelligence (BI) projects and initiatives. As a key member of our Enterprise Advanced Analytics Department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing BI strategies, working closely with senior leadership and the business to define and implement BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior leadership and the business to define and implement BI strategies
- Work with the business to develop plans and architecture for BI solutions
- Lead the planning and implementation of BI and data analytics projects, including defining scope, developing project plans, budgets, and tracking deliverables
- Document current business processes, conduct requirements analysis, and identify system and process improvements
- Establish and enforce standards, best practices, and methodologies for BI processes and tools
- Develop and implement strategies to drive user adoption of BI solutions
- Mentor business and junior IT resources in business analysis, technical troubleshooting, and BI and Data Warehouse support skills
- Minimum of ten years' recent experience implementing and supporting enterprise data warehouses in medium to large organizations, supplemented by a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Five years recent experience in senior-level business analysis and project management
- Strong business analysis (BA) and project management (PM) skills
- Ability to oversee and plan all activities around the management of IT systems/programs with a focus on service delivery and a pro-active outlook
- Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence (BI) is considered an asset
