Key Responsibilities:- Examine, assess, and resolve engineering challenges through innovative solutions.
- Conduct thorough engineering design and provide support during construction phases, including site evaluations.
- Establish and nurture professional relationships to evaluate work impacts and set priorities.
- Organize and manage resources to ensure project commitments are fulfilled.
- Serve as the Civil Professional of Record and Technical Leader for Distribution Engineering.
- Review and assess design methodologies and standards, offering technical guidance to the engineering team.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited Canadian institution.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC.
- 4-8 years of experience in Civil Engineering, ideally within the electric utilities sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with industry-standard engineering design and analysis software.
- Familiarity with applicable CSA codes, WorkSafeBC regulations, and BC utility construction practices.
- Willingness to travel and work in diverse weather conditions and terrains.
