Job Title: Civil Engineer/Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer/Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure projects, including transportation systems, urban planning, and civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop infrastructure projects, including transportation systems, urban planning, and civil engineering projects
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Prepare engineering base plans, designs, drawings, and cost estimates for municipal engineering projects
  • Develop concepts and designs using Civil 3D, CAD, and other computer-aided drafting programs
  • Produce design calculations and analysis for storm water and sanitary sewer collection systems
  • Assist in preparing engineering and construction tender documents and contracts
  • Inspect construction of municipal engineering projects
  • Provide input into project budgeting and scheduling
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or Engineering Design Technology with registration (or eligible for registration) with AScT or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC
  • ~3+ years' experience in municipal or transportation engineering related fields
  • ~ Working knowledge of Civil 3D/AutoCAD
  • ~ Transportation and/or Municipal engineering design experience
  • ~ Experience in large and small-scale projects
