We are experiencing strong international growth and are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support our teams in the supervision of younger engineers and designers.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team as an Intermediate Building Mechanical Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with our team in the design of building mechanical systems, including plumbing, HVAC, energy management, and clean plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop building mechanical systems, including plumbing, HVAC, energy management, and clean plumbing systems.
- Draft technical specifications and studies, including principle studies, feasibility studies, and preliminary design.
- Conduct surveys of existing installations, improve existing systems, and develop new solutions taking into account existing installations.
- Evaluate building mechanics construction cost budgets.
- Participate in site monitoring and services during construction.
- Project management and coordination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in consulting engineering and/or in a factory in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food fields.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and specialized software, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
