Atlantica is in search of a qualified candidate for the role of Senior Procurement Specialist. This position is integral to our Procurement team and reports directly to the Director of Project Services.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for addressing the purchasing requirements of the organization promptly, adhering to established operational methods and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with Operational Team members to address procurement requests efficiently.
- Gather pricing information from suppliers and issue purchase orders to vendors.
- Manage open purchase orders and ensure their integrity within the ERP system.
- Coordinate necessary drawings and documentation between vendors and Project Managers for equipment acquisitions.
- Assist in the review and negotiation of contract terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Follow up on purchased items, addressing back orders and compliance issues.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement is advantageous.
- Familiarity with commercial, institutional, or industrial construction environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
