POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a proactive and creative Talent Development Consultant to enhance our People & Culture team during a transformative 12-month engagement. Reporting to the Senior Manager of People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in designing our career framework and onboarding initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to develop impactful training programs that facilitate employee growth and success.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Collaborate with People & Culture Business Partners to develop, implement, and oversee onboarding strategies for new employees, ensuring all essential onboarding elements are addressed.

· Partner with department leaders to customize onboarding experiences that meet specific role requirements, equipping new hires with the tools and support necessary for a successful start.

· Create and implement a comprehensive career framework that aligns with the organization's objectives, detailing clear advancement pathways and competencies for various positions.

· Conduct assessments to identify training needs across departments and propose tailored learning solutions to enhance employee capabilities.

· Develop training programs that foster employee growth and skill enhancement.

· Engage with senior management and department heads to gather insights that will inform the creation of training materials and career progression strategies.

· Collaborate with product managers to standardize training resources across the organization and establish a centralized repository.

· Lead training initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality benchmarks.

· Utilize Dayforce LMS to maintain a centralized training repository and track progress.

· Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs and career framework initiatives, providing regular updates to stakeholders on outcomes.

· Design engaging digital and in-person learning experiences that incorporate innovative educational techniques and multimedia.

· Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in training and development, making recommendations for program improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

· A college diploma or university degree in a relevant field.

· 6-9 years of experience in training, learning, and career development.

· Proven project management skills with strong planning and organizational abilities.

· Proficiency in learning management systems and training technologies.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to cultivate and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.

· A confident and optimistic approach to challenges.

· A driven mindset focused on achieving objectives.

· Strategic thinking with an open-minded and creative attitude.

· Ability to work independently while also being an effective team collaborator.

· A self-starter who takes initiative and leads change management efforts.

· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities; attention to detail is crucial.

Preferred:

· Experience in distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, or operations sectors.
