About the Role

Crown Mobile Welding and Crafting is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a Welder Specialist, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts together.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient welding.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut metal parts to size.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to shape metal parts.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal parts using welding, brazing, and soldering techniques.
  • Determine the weldability of materials and select the appropriate welding process.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy metal parts.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
