Job Overview

The Finance & Strategy division plays a crucial role in enhancing strategic and financial decision-making throughout the organization. We oversee our operational framework, evaluate investment opportunities, and engage in strategic planning.

We are seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager to oversee our international forecasting and reporting processes and conduct comprehensive multi-market analyses to better understand and support our merchants.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate essential Annual Planning and Outlook cycles by coordinating the aggregation of forecasts from all international markets and summarizing the results for presentation to senior management.
  • Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for the International Finance & Strategy month-end closing processes and create summary presentations in collaboration with market DRIs to elucidate significant performance trends for team leaders.
  • Develop, manage, and sustain Performance Indicator dashboards by extracting data from SQL and analyzing extensive datasets.
  • Conduct cross-market analyses to assist both market DRIs and local teams, focusing on aspects such as customer retention, product effectiveness, and lifecycle evaluations.
  • Lead modeling and analytical efforts for ad-hoc multi-market initiatives, foster relationships across the organization, and present insights to enhance local market performance.
Qualifications:

You Should Have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Exceptional skills in financial modeling and Excel (case study may be required).
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker).
  • A commitment to the mission of Economic Empowerment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in data science.
  • Familiarity with the payments sector.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker) and reporting software (e.g., Hyperion).
