About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student Canada. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, providing assistance as needed.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 driver's license.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • 3 years of unrestricted driving experience.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Recent clear vulnerable sector check.
  • Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background check.
