Job Opportunity: Bus Driver

Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is a thriving independent day school that values a caring and inclusive community. As one of fifteen IB World Continuum schools in Canada, GNS offers a unique 21st-Century education that educates the whole child and fosters global thinkers.

We are seeking a dedicated and community-minded individual to join our team as a Bus Driver. In this role, you will safely transport students to and from various school-related events and activities, as well as transport to and from the airport and ferry terminal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a small fleet of GNS vehicles, including the School's 24-passenger bus
  • Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain accurate documentation
  • Work with personnel to ensure adherence to school and government regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid unrestricted Class 4 driver's license and clear driver's abstract
  • Five (5) years of related driving experience working with children and the public
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a positive interpersonal style
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening
