About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Gourmet Carleton Place Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Financial Management
    • Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to boost profits
    • Develop and manage budgets to determine food, ingredient, and supply costs
  • Operations and Supervision
    • Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
    • Supervise and manage a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
    • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Proven track record of success in budgeting, financial management, and team supervision
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
