Restaurant Manager Job Description

GOURMET CARLETON PLACE INC is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data to optimize restaurant profits and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Develop and manage budgets for food, ingredients, supplies, and labor costs.
  • Evaluate daily operations and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and implement menu changes and promotions.
  • Monitor revenue and labor costs to ensure profitability.
  • Supervise staff and provide coaching and training to improve performance.
  • Recruit and hire new staff members as needed.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and provincial liquor legislation.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to increase customer engagement and sales.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing budgets, staff, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook.
