Site Superintendent

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to lead our client's construction projects from initiation to completion.

About the Role:

The Site Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all daily field activities on the construction site, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery. This includes strategizing, planning, organizing, and managing construction projects, as well as supervising day-to-day field activities and managing the construction site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate site activities, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure on-site safety programs and compliance with regulations, including health and safety protocols.
  • Manage site security, including access control and permit requirements.
  • Collaborate with other sites for resource sharing and coordination.
  • Arrange for inspections and testing of various building elements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage site filing and documentation, including records of verbal communication and site occurrences.
  • Prepare and submit job reports, including project status updates and cost management.
  • Manage and maintain project costs within budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the ICI construction industry.
  • Experience in innovative construction methods is an asset.
  • In-depth understanding and implementation of health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with construction site environments in all seasons.
  • Gold Seal Certified is an asset.
  • LEED Accredited is an asset.
  • Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of Suretrak, Primavera P3 or P6, Procore, BIM Software, or E-Builder Project Management Software is an asset.

What We Offer:
