About the Role

Auswide Enterprises Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of landscape construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan and direct grounds maintenance projects, including the installation of trees, gardens, and lawns.
  • Team Supervision: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment, including chain saws, pick-up trucks, and small engine equipment.
  • Material Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Contract Administration: Tender and administer contracts for landscape construction work.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and logs of work completed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
